I eat at Subway alot for lunch, maybe twice a week, just b/c it's one of the closest eateries. Usually it's a meatball sandwich or turkey sandwich, with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and mustard. I feel really thirsty after eating the sandwiches, however.

Thirst is probably coming from spices in the meatballs or other other places.

They really arent too unhealthy - really where the fat is coming in is the oils, mayo, mustard and other things like that (if you're worried about it, say light, which is what I do because I love ranch on my subway sandwiches).

Veggies and meat are good, cheese is a little fatty, but some fat is good. Get wheat bread instead of white for something a little healthier.

It depends on what you have them put on your sandwich. Bread, lettuce, tomato are always good. Cheese is OK but it drives up the calorie count. I never eat red meat so I would say avoid that since you really can't be sure about what is in the meatball. Turkey is a better choice. The dressings are suspect. You never know for sure what is in them or how much is being used because they squeeze them out of unmarked bottles. It is better to have your own little pack of the dressing of your choice. That way you have control. Overall, I would say Subway beats a hamburger any day of the week.

Eating too much of almost anything is unhealthy. Subway sandwiches contain processed meats, white bread with a lot of carbs, fattening mayo, etc. Lettuce has no real nutritional benefits (no vitamins or fiber). And don't get me started on the meatball sandwich.

Start bringing a lunch to work. Eat more fruit for lunch (bananas are great for potassium, etc.) Eat plain yogurt and throw in some fruit (skip the other flavored yogurts...they have a ton of sugar.) Try to eat at least two handfuls of nuts a day. They are a great source of protein and essential oils. Buy stuff on Sunday and get your lunch ready for the week. Just because Jared says it helped him doesn't make it good for you. Oh, and drink at least 32 ounces of water a day. Buy a waterbottle and keep it at your desk and fill it up at least twice. You body is telling you something if you're thirsty. You need more water. Not to be gross, but you should drink enough water to where you urine is almost clear. deep yellow urine is a sign of not enough water

It relies upon on what you %., in case you flow to their website it provides you you with the nutritional wreck downs of each thing on their menu. I too ought to ask for dressing on the area. attempt eating their salads maximum days & swap it up with a sandwich, somewhat of a sandwich universal. you'll be waiting to diminish out fairly some carbs in case you flow with the salad. avoid the flat breads, they are made with lard! I definitely have a strong buddy who manages the subway in my city. Honey Oat has the most fiber & protein for no longer many more advantageous energy than the wheat, in simple terms so that you be conscious of!
