If you don't believe in God, then your answer seems logical. If you do believe in God then the Bible makes more sense.

We want to put human thought to explain human situations but we have to take the word of the first followers who talked and walked with Jesus for three years, and knew Mary. John the Apostle would have taken care of Mary after Jesus' death. It is called Oral tradition. This question was debated for years.
Jesus had no brothers or sisters but there was a possibility of cousins.
Joseph was a protector for Mary. He was an older man. He may have been married and had a child before Jesus but it has not been proven.

Well, your spelling is atrocious, for one thing.
For another thing, virgin births are pretty common in religions around the world. It's a way of saying that the offspring is supernatural, or at least not formed the usual way.
It's a metaphor, dude.
If you don't like it, whatever. But it's supposed to be a miracle. Besides, people AT THE TIME didn't believe her!
Kinda like Semele (Dionysus's mother) and Leto (Artemis and Apollo's mother) and Psyche having Eros for a lover.
Happens all the time.

Perhaps a more important question might be to ask what the English word 'virgin' implied in the original text. If you think that it means what the word virgin means today, then you probably either have no understanding of the bible, basically like most christians, or you believe that somehow you infallibly understand it.

It is definitely more plausible that Joseph married Mary because he loved her and was a nice guy. Women don't get stoned so much these days but we still often see guys marrying women who are pregnant or have kids from another man.

Siar, everything is about faith. If you believe that God created the entire universe and all the life in it from nothing, which by the way is the biggest miracle of all. Then why is it so hard to believe he could make a virgin birth happen.
If you don't believe the God created the universe and everything in it, then why worry about the question of the virgin birth, you don't believe anyway.

i'm an atheist, and i obviously do not believe in the immaculate conception, and there is obviously no source other than the bible to see if a woman who lived over 2000 years ago got pregnant before marriage, but i can't help but say that your spelling is atrocious. it's "mary" not "marry" and "christian" not "cristian"
*edit* sorry, i didn't realize that it's not your first language. i sympathize. my spanish is disgusting. hahaha.

Mary had to have been a virgin, so that Christ was not born into the seed of Adam. It may sound silly to you, but it is the basis of my beliefs. Besides, Joseph did not believe her either until an Angel told him otherwise.

Hmmm....it's called a "miracle" for a reason.
Either you accept the Biblical accounts of Jesus life or you don't. You don't "pick and choose" those aspects of it you like or don't like.
Jesus either existed or He didn't.
He either performed Miracles as part of His Ministry or he didn't.
He either fulfilled the Messianic prophecies or he didn't.
In the end, it's your choice to believe or not. But argue the entire body of work, not the "bits and pieces."

There's really nothing about Jesus' life that is independently verifiable. The only writings we have about him were written decades after he died, if he existed at all.
However, religion really isn't based on logic. It is based on emotional appeal. That's why "faith" is pushed by them as a virtue. If you have no real reason to believe something, then you have to promote the idea that just believing for no reason is another way to know something. It's like promoting the virtue of wearing ragged clothes when you can't afford new ones.
