Nope. Like everything else, it is only what it is. It's how it's used that counts.

Anger can be a positive force if it drives you to make a healthy, positive change. It's a negative force if it holds you back, eats at you, or keeps you from happiness.

No, it is not wrong. However if you have too much anger within you then better to let it out in a safe way. Anger is a natural emotion and is in no way wrong. How you direct the anger MAY be wrong.

The thinking that having anger within you is wrong can riddle you with guilt and even lead to mental health issues.

You absolutely have a right to feeling anger.

Hi, anger is an emotion within all of us...it's a human emotion...we do have a right to be angry at times and there is righteous anger where anger is justified. The problem arises when we take our anger out on someone else and maybe hurt others...

Of course you have a right to your anger. No one can come in a pluck it out. However, it doesn't feel very good and it certainly prolongs your suffering as well as the suffering of those around you. I try to practice patience a lot more mindfully than I used to. I feel a lot better. I'm not perfect but I'm better than I was.
I don't think it's 'wrong' to be angry but I think that it is very harmful to you as a physical and spiritual being. it eats you away from the inside out. Heart disease, strokes, high cholesterol....all linked to anger. Depression, alienation, despair...each linked to anger. Best to you.

Peter and Jesus had an interesting conversation about this and Peter asked Jesus how often should I forgive my brother?

Jesus answer 70 x 7 = 490 times To forgive you don't have to condone their sin.

You've heard "I don't forgive I just get even." Retaliation wants to make the person pay. Anger starts to set in. Unforgiveness, resentment and retaliation have been uilding and now a real strong feeling of anger comes along. After anger comes hatred. Hatred says, "I'm remembering what you did to me." After hatred violence which says "Before I eliminate you, you're going to feel my pain. You're going to hear my voice. You're going to know my hatred. You're going to experience it. Once violence erupts, the final fruit of bitterness and anger is murder. This can be physical murder or murder with the tongue.

You don't want to get me started on the sicknesses caused by anger and what anger does to the body. Put a lot of love in your heart. Anger is not worth it.

It is not wrong to experience anger. It is how we direct that anger that is important.

Great Question.
Anger has a place but it is also hard to control. I try very hard to stay clear of it as much as possible. I used to love to fight before I was saved,, so for me it is a huge no no. We have it for a reason though. There is a time and place.

The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; -Romans 8:6

being angry isn't a sin. be angry and sin not. what's wrong is holding a grudge. there's nothing wrong with disliking someone, but when you hold a grudge/hate them, then there's a problem.

"do not let the sun go down on your anger" -- no grudges
"let us make man in our own image" -- we're like God
"He will not harber His anger forever" -- God gets angry

Yes, because the Bible says so. If you are angry with someone without a cause it is murdering them in your heart. Righteous anger is not a sin, be angry and sin not.
