it means something is "tacky","kitschy", "corny"... In other words, "in questionable taste"... Affected, pretentious, excessively ornamented

"It's cheesy" simply means tacky or in poor taste, such as; "his car looked 'cheesy' with fury dice hanging from his rear view mirror."

Cheezy either means that it is extremely sweet to a sickening level OR that it is fake.
