for the past few months i was wearing my hair with a bang, but recently changed it and got rid of the bang.. when i asked my boyfriend what he thought he said my new look made me look "too cute" whereas the one before made me look cute, but conservative.... what does he mean by saying "too cute doesn't pay sometimes, huh??

i don't think he thinks your not having bangs is unconservative. maybe it makes you irresistibly "too cute" for him to handle.lol. I don't see any negativity in his comment unless he's the jealous type..

He is saying that...
girls are always trying to look cuter and cuter and cuter...
but sometimes, they overdo it.
He thinks that you overdid the cute-ness,
and now it just looks "too cute",
which is actually not a good thing.

In other words,
less is more.
You don't have to keep making yourself better and better.
