Not sure what you mean by coalville. But i had sciatica pain horribly and found no relief. There are steroid injections you can get in your spine, i got two but they didnt work for me. They say most people feel relief instantly with those. I had surgery to fix it, a disc had shattered in my lower back pressing on my sciatic nerve, which was causing the pain, 7 months later i feel great! Good Luck! You can also try staying off that leg and alternating with hot and cold packs on your back...

Oh, my heart goes out to you, I started with sciatica 6 weeks ago and the pain of it is dreadful isn't it? I tried acupuncture but wasn't very responsive to it. I'm now having Chinese deep tissue massage done weekly, I am feeling a little better but still in pain, but at least I'm standing up straight again.
I have tried all the pain killers from over the counter but none have worked, good luck to you if you can find something, that will make a difference, I hope you feel better soon.

Do you carry a wallet in your back pocket? If so take it out anytime you have to sit. Sitting on a wallet can cause the pain you are experiencing.
