Sweetie, there are many things you could serve along side chicken alfredo. Here are a few:

Oven Roasted Asparagus
1 lb fresh asparagus
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
salt and pepper to taste

On a cookie sheet, lay cleaned asparagus in a single layer.Drizzle with olive oil,and salt and pepper to your taste.Toss to coat, and make sure they are in a single layer.Place them in a 350 degree oven until tender.

You can make a basic salad. Here are few suggestions on ingredients:
Iceburg lettuce, baby spinach, grape tomatoes, parmesan cheese, and your choice of dressing.Keep it simple, alfredo is very delicious and filling,so keeping it simple will compliment it rather than compete.
You can also serve bread and butter or garlic bread. You can serve fresh green beans even. You can blanch them and sautee them in butter,if you want a crunch. You can oven roast them until tender.Same process as above only you will be blanching these first.Yum.Hope you enjoy your meal.Good luck hun,and have a good night!!

Bacon wrapped asparagus spears with some of the Alfredo sauce drizzled over it. Arugula, red onion, grape tomato salad with balsamic vinaigrette served on a crostini.

Steam some broccoli until done to your liking. Add about a teaspoon of dried bread crumbs and as much shredded cheese as you like. Mix well. Microwave 30 seconds or so so cheese fully melts. It's quick, easy and ohhhhh so yummy and goes very well with chicken.
Yummy

Some pan fried mushrooms (in butter of course!!) with some sea salt and pepper.

Some steamed brocolli with lemon..

Some asparagus with hollandaise sauce (you can get the packets in the grocery store).

Or maybe some vegetable medley??

Steamed broccoli, with or without cheese sauce.
A tossed salad, crusty rolls or french bread, garlic toast, serve the chicken on noodles.

Since I can't eat brocolli (allergic reaction), I would opt for asparagas, steamed crisp tender and tossed with lemon and butter. Or:

1. Asparagas and snap peas sauteed in olive oil with pancetta
2. Spinach sauteed with fresh garlic, olive oil and pine nuts
3. Fresh green beans cooked in chicken broth and tossed with Italian herbs and cherry tomatos
4. Spinach salad with red onion rings, mandarin oranges, fresh bean sprouts, and a vinagrette such as a balsamic or one you make by mixing red wine vinegar with dijon mustard and olive oil.
5. fresh zuchinni and yellow crookneck squashes grilled with
rosemary infused olive oil, kosher salt, and fresh ground pepper.
6. peas and baby onions

A nice romaine salad with your own homemade salad dressing (very easy to do); broccoli, mashed potatoes, peas, and of course bread with butter. Yum-o!

Broccoli always goes good with that dish - if you are doing a pasta, I would just throw the veggie in. Serve with crusty Italian bread and a salad - sounds delicious.
