I get this all the time too. The t-zone (your forehead and nose) is normally the oiliest part of your face, but for me, it seems to be the driest.

It could be peeling for a number of reasons: genetics, you live in a dry climate, interior heating, skin sensitivity, too much sun, not enough water, not enough omega oils in diet...

You might want to try an exfoliating wash (maybe a couple times a week) and a good, moisture rich cream that won't clog pores and give you blackheads. Try one that's fragrance free for sensitive skin. Cetaphil has some quality, and cost effective, products that you can get at most drugstores. See http://www.cetaphil.com/

Drink lots of water, it helps to balance the moisture in your skin.

Also, it will probably help you to get more omega 3 oils into your diet. I did this and my skin was better moisturized and looked glowing! Some good sources of these oils are in fish, flax seed oil, and flax seeds. You can also take supplements. Also, omega 3 oils (or essential fatty acids) have been proven to help with many things, such as preventing heart disease, depression, and even helping with concentration.

Here's a link to info on omega 3's: http://www.softecare.com/Ingredients/omega_3_benefits_and_facts.cfm

Good luck!

It might be because you have dry skin. Put moistrizer on your skin. You can get some from Neotrogena. Are you using and acne product? If so that may be the cause of the peeling and dry skin too. It happened to me. Just put moistrizer on it it helps!

Hope this helps!

If you are using acne cream, use it less often. It is probably drying out your skin. Otherwise, try putting face moisturizer around those areas.
