I bought dry stuff from an organic store. Hope it's good. The tag was amazingly high at $22.

Same thing I always have. Natural Balance. I have a small dog, so I buy a 5 pound bag every month and a half or so. It's under $10, human grade ingredients, no fillers, and she looks fabulous.

I have always fed and am still feeding Flint River Ranch dog food. ALL of the ingredients are FDA approved for human consumption, the food is baked for easier digestability and there are no fillers like corn. Great food. About $25 to $28 per 20 lb bag, but you feed less than you would with regular food, cause there are no fillers.

I feed a raw diet, so I know more or less what goes into their food and I feed organic stuff when I can (organic eggs, organic yogurt, etc). Other good brands are Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul, Innova, Canidae, Timberwolf Organics, Natural Balance, etc.

I feed Canidae and Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul to the dogs at my house.
I don't feed the cheap quality foods such as Pedigree, IAMS/Eukanuba, Purina, Science Diet, etc even without the recall they are low quality foods with way too much cheap fillers...corn, wheat, soy, beet pulp and by products.

Yes, I do suggest staying away from the canned food right now. Dry food however, is you're best bet to ensure you're dogs health. (For the time being)

I feed my pup Royal Canin and she is in great condition. Royal Canin also, wasn't on the list of known recall brands.

Try using all natural/dye free dry food. Maxxium lamb and rice is a good brand. It has a great amount of crude protiens and all the stuff your dog needs. My Border Collies love it!

The dog food that was affected were some of the canned foods of different brands. If you do their dry dog food, it's fine. Did you see the website telling you which cans were bad? It's at menufoods.com/recall.

Well, after much research, I'll start feeding my german shepherd Canidae now. It's pretty expensive, but I figure the better food= better quality of life = less trips to the vet.

The recall only affected a small amount of food processed at one place.
I feed the same thing I always fed, Canidae kibble.

I'm not sure the scandal you mean, but Royal Canin and Nutro are both good quality dog foods.

I don't have a dog right now, but feed my cat Nutro and he is healthy, has good teeth and a glossy coat
