I was told there's a story about Solomon telling his parents to get him a wife. Where can this story be found?

I could not find where this happened, if it did. The first wife mentioned for Soloman was Pharaoh's daughter for an alliance with Eygpt. There was an incident with Adonijah who asked Bathsheba to talk with Soloman about giving Abishag to him as a wife. Perhaps this is what you had heard.
