So, why not ask some of the people that you show with if they'd be interested? You *do* show or compete your dog, right? Otherwise, as wonderful as your dog may be, she really needs to be fixed. Remember, AKC, Champion "lines", and being a sweetie are not reasons to breed. The only ethical reason is to improve the breed - to try and create a perfect GSD.

Before anyone else goes out and further ruins one of my favorite breeds, does your ***** have her hips and elbows certified by OFA or Penn Hip? Has she been temperament tested by the ATTS.org or does she have her AKC Canine Good Citizen certification? Does she titled in a WORKING dog sport like Schutzhund, tracking, agility, obedience, flyball, etc? Showing in conformation is NOT a working dog sport and showing has ruined the American German shepherd. Is she at least 2 years of age (more like three with as slow as GSDs mature)?

If not...do NOT breed her! Just because she owns a uterus doesn't mean she needs puppies. We don't need any more crippled fear biting German shepherds running around!

Lol, I see another back yard breeder trying to make some cheap unethical bucks because if you are a legitimate responsible breeder, you wouldn't be posting this.
Well, thanks to people like you and your irresponsible breeding, German Shepherds are now prone to many genetic diseases such as hip and elbow dysplasia.

My advice is to get your GSD spayed, she will be happier and healthier.

I'd contact the Alaska Kennel club
www.alaskakennelclub.org

You might try hanging out at Alyeska Canine Trainers, too.

Oh whatever. Don't listen to those bunny-huggers from the states. We do things differently in AK. Besides, I dont think you were asking if you SHOULD breed your dog, just that you were looking for someone to knock her up! However, if she doesnt have papers, then a stud with papers wont do you any good. If I were you I would contact the AK State Troopers Association or local police and rescue outfits. Alot of times they have well trained dogs that dont pass the final exams. They probably wont just stud them out but you may be able to adopt one.
