Are you allowed to pick the topic, or does the teacher pick it? Hopfully you can, so pick something you enjoy. Remember eye contact, and some speeches are good with props. Relax, and if it helps, pratice your speech a few times in the mirror, or in front of someone you trust. Then ask for feedback to know what you should change, or what you should keep. I hope you do well. (Your bro, I mean :) )

Talk from the heart, find out by talking to him, what he really feels about the subject he has to do the speech on. Use real words and feelings. Don't make it too long, but get your points across. Give your details during the speech and do a summary in the last paragraph, so if I did not listen well during the whole speech, I could get the jist of it during the last paragraph. Look at the people you are talking to, don't read from notes and don't memorize. Believe in what you are saying. best of luck to your brother.

Use spiraled note cards, high light key words to help him stay on track, practice in front family to help understand nervous body movements, and on a tape recorder if you have one, try to reduce the number of vocal segregates ex. um, ah, and..., good eye contact" look at people 3 sec+", make sure to go to the bathroom before, have a water bottle at hand during the speech, BREATH don't go to fast, Good luck
