Hi that must of deffinatly been printed wrong, but I sort of believe it as they are trying to get us to cut down on our rubbish collection to every 2 weeks instead of every week. But back to the topic of vaccuming, We vaccum the living room everyday and more than once sometimes, also we do the upstairs about once a week if needed. There is no way limiting to once a month, especiall if you have pets, and especailly if someone in the family has allergies and ashthma as its esential to get rid of the mites that live in the carpet and it also clears the air. So i think it would be a nightmare if we had to do it once a month. Thats like saying dont have a wash for a month. Yuk.
Yes save the environment of course but surely they can let us hoover at least once a day. They can find loads of other stuff to be getting on with like cars polluting the ozone and factorys, I dont know etc. But for god sake Hoovinring now. whats going on

if saving the earth means we have to live like pigs and wallow in dirt then the earth can go whistle!
i vacuum daily, i live in a dusty part of the world and vacuuming once a day is a necessity. there is only myself left now but still daily cleaning is a necessity. besides which i dont believe that article to be true.
no one could get away with vacuuming once a month. unless it is an airtight home with no living breathing beings in it.

A full vacuuming twice daily, including under the beds, etc., at noon and just before bedtime. High traffic areas bi-hourly.
That is unless you LIKE breathing in dead skin particles (which comprised the majority of dust in a home), dirt, airborne allergens & bacteria, and the like.

I think that if you vacuum once a month your floors will be gross. So my suggestion is to vacuum once a week and mop it everyday or sweep so that your floor is not dirty and you are not useing electicity.

as few times as possible - only when guests are coming - or when it really needs it. Once a month sounds good - but if it gets a lot of traffic you may need to do it more often.
