They find acceptance in the physical world. They make their own morals, they worship themselves in that since.

They themselves govern what is right and wrong in their own eyes. They in that since live for themselves. They do not obey god's rules. They say God is cruel.

They keep seeking something to make sense in their lives. Material Goods, sex, etc.

They don't want to believe in God because his rules, don't seem to fit their ideals of what a God should be. These people obviously are worshiping some other God. A false one, one they made up based on morals that coincide with his physical world. Which is really meaningless. Too blind to see the truth, but all in all really searching for something. Jesus Christ.

how can any of you say what is moral? Your level is perfection is flawed in the eyes of God. You think you are doing good, but you can't be so naive to believe simply being moral in your humanly standards will save you from damnation. You need Jesus.

WOW. I sooo get what you are saying. I ask myself that question all the time. However, Jesus did not say that everyone in this world would choose to accept him. He flat out told us that we would be persecuted, and that there would be unbelievers. It is a sad thing to think that some of our dearest friends or ppl that we know will never turn to the Lord. However, it is our job to do our best to influence them in such a way that would make them desire to be like Christ. It is our duty to show them that even without these worldly things, we can still live a "fun" life..we can still have friends, be a funny person, be liked...Sometimes people think that christians are all about "being good" and never messing up..but in reality, all we really strive for is to be like Jesus. We aren't perfect. But we strive to be. And as long as you continue to strive to walk in the light, there's nothing that you can do about those that choose to not believe. The bible says there are "blinders" over their eyes. He will choose to remove those blinders when the time is right. Until then, just keep living for Him and never lose hope. I hope that helps :) God bless you, and don't ever stop believing!

I'm sorry, dear, but people do not make their own morals. Their morals are the product of long history, predating any church.

We have a genetic predisposition to social behavior. Add to that the long experience humans have had in living in community and you have the basis for morality and ethics.

God's rules as expressed in the Judeo-Christian tradition were codified long before the foundation of Judea and Isreal.

Read some history. It will make you feel a little less depressed.

I am happy with my beliefs. I feel safe and secure about being a Muslim. It's my life and my faith. I'm not turning to sex, material goods or anything like that. I'm turning to God and trying to finish my college education so I can be a productive member of society.
It's nice that you believe in Jesus Christ. However, isn't just as nice that we all different beliefs? It's called diversity and it's a wonderful thing, well beautiful actually.

Hello, I hear what you're saying! But everyone has a fallen nature that we inherited from Adam & Eve. We all are living the lie and we wear a crown of pride that says we can be our own god & thus decide what is right or wrong & do everything in our own strenght. Whatever takes God's place has to die - and that's us!...People , money, possesions drugs, sex..all will fail us in time...only Godly things will endure...I've seen a lot of things & I understand...there is more to life than what you see with your eyes!

What you meant to say in my opinion is:

Why don't people jusr accept that we Christians are right and stop rocking the boat? After all isn't it proof enough that we are right because we have a book that says we are? It says it's right doggone it, just join with the herd!

I do not follow your "god" because yours is not a path I want to walk. Honestly, I like the belief system I'm in, deal with it.

What is so wrong with you just being happy with your religion and let those of use who believe different follow our own path.

Matthew
Chapter 6

1 "(But) take care not to perform righteous deeds in order that people may see them; otherwise, you will have no recompense from your heavenly Father.
2
When you give alms, do not blow a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets to win the praise of others. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.
3
But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right is doing,
4
so that your almsgiving may be secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.
5
"When you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, who love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on street corners so that others may see them. Amen, I say to you, they have received their reward.
6
But when you pray, go to your inner room, close the door, and pray to your Father in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will repay you.

You keep answering your own questions. Are you actually asking something or would you just prefer to read your own text?
Your god IS cruel. A good reading of both testaments will give you that.
If I can be more moral than your god, he isn't worth my attention, much less my worship.

How do you know they are God's rules? Because they are in an ancient book written by men? How do you know whose rules you are really following, God's or man's? Because you have faith? No matter how you slice it, the reality is that these rules were written by men's hands.
