old beagle is throwing up bile. Don't live close to a store. What herbs will settle her stomach? Have appointment with vet tomorrow.

Try giving her some cooked chicken (not fried) mixed with rice. (Not to much)
The cooked meat and rice are easy to digest and will settle your dog's stomach. If that doesn't seem to help, mention it to you're vet.

Beagles are a breed of dog that throw up often. Mainly their own bile, especially if they haven't eaten. Try to give your dog at least a piece of bread in the morning (if you feed her at night) to settle her stomach. Dogs will often eat grass, also, if their stomach is upset. But it really helps if you give the dog a snack so it doesn't get too hungry. (Which is why my beagle throws up a lot.)

Ask the vet, call her/him on the phone. Maybe something as simple as a couple laps of milk will help or let it outside to eat some grass that's a dogs natural way of easing tummy achesâ¥
