If u dial the wrong number and get a busy symbol, u hang up so u never actually learn that u had a wrong number.

If you think about it, you never know if you dialed a wrong number and it is busy. No one is picking up and telling you that you have a wrong number. So really...you don't know because no one has told you.

Because if you did dial a wrong number and it was busy you wouldn't know that it was the wrong number, you would just assume it was the correct person because noone answers to tell you otherwise.

Well if you think about it a bit more, you may well have called a wrong number that was busy but never realised it was the wrong number because you'd have just hung up and tried again later :D
