Jesus was God in the flesh / natural.
He was 100% man and 100% God.
God did what man could not.
BTW, the DaVinci Code was fiction. Didn't you read the first page?
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God and the Word was with God...14 and the Word became flesh.
John was one of Jesus' closest friends and disciple. He walked, talked, learned discipleship, ate and breathed the same air as Jesus Christ. What an incredible experience!

Neither. "Jesus" is a mythic hero figure adapted by the Romans from similar charactors in earlier myths to serve as the figurehead of a new syncretistic myth that they called "Christianity". Although it is not impossible that one (or more) real people may have inspired the mythmakers, the Jesus charactor of the New Testament is a fictional creation.
It might interest you to know that the first organized sect to emerge based around the worship of Jesus, the Marcionites, did not believe that Jesus had ever physically existed. When all the Christian sects were united at the Council of Nicaea, the Marcionite version of Jesus was incorporated into the new mythos as the so-called "Holy Spirit". It appears to have been a political compromise to get them to cease resisting and join the Roman state church (which still exists today as the Catholic & Orthodox sects). The description and attributes of the Holy Spirit in these sects are identical to those that Marcion ascribed to Jesus.

Jesus is both human and God. The Da Vinci Code tells us that He had a wife and a child. Not true. Jesus, who is God in the flesh, came to the earth for the purpose of dieing for our sins. Because of His resurrection, we are resurrected, if we belong to Him. Isaiah 53 tells us that He had no descendants.
The Books or letters that the Da Vinci Code adds to the Bible conflict with the actual Bible in many places and were written many many years after the Word of God was.
The Bible is God's written Word to us.
It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Above all you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:20-21. (New International Version)

Human:
Matthew 11:11 -among those born of women there has been none greater than John the Baptist.
Son of God:
John 3:6 What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Only those things born directly from God are called "sons" or "children" of God. This is why the angels are called "sons of God,"
and this is why Adam--born directly from God--is called a "son of God" in Luke 3:38. Christ as well, born not from man but by God, is called the Son of God.
Col 1:15 - the firstborn of every creature

Jesus was 100% human. But he was 100% god at the same time. He was god in the flesh. The word in the flesh. Jesus is the Word of God. In John 1:1-2 it says:
Before the world was created, the Word already existed; he was God, and he was the same as God. From the very beginning the Word was with God.
Jesus said that he and the father are one. The Father is in him and he is in the father.

He was both. A physical body with full possesion and knowledge of his soul.
PS: Davinci code = fiction as stated by the author. :-)
I loved the book, but didnt see why jesus having a life was such a big deal. I am a cradle Catholic and never thought of it either way.
I just always assumed he ate, slept, loved, walked, talked, and got angry just like any one else as he WAS a human being by birth and biology.
If he had a wife or children was completely irrelevant to me. They didn't change anything he was or did for the rest of humanity.

Isnt everybody Gods sons and daughters. I believe Jesus is special because he was a messenger of God, but not his son. I dont feel Jesus nor God in the sense of the word but at times when everything fits together perfectly and thnigs that could have gone wrong in so many ways dont go wrong, it seems like it was planned all along. I dont think God would want you to feel him cause then you would never leave the church/mosque/synagogue busy praying all day and then there wouldnt really be a point in God giving us free will.
