I was born in 1989. I really want to find him before I graduate and go to college and that doesn't give me much time... My story is like a soap oprea... My mom and him were having a fling in a camp called Camp Pennington in CA. I guess they didn't count on her getting pregnant, but anyway when. The next thing she knows she and him are taken to two diffient camps in NC. she went to Camp Riverside and he went to Camp LeJeune. She told me the last time she saw him was a month after I was born... Hewas in the store shopping with his wife. As soon as he saw my mom walking towards him he rushed his wife out the store.. My mama told him to not worry about taking care of me because she could do it herself. She told me that in a way he did love me because on the 3rd month he sent her a mother's day card... His name is Anthony Eugene Edwards, he's black, and should be between the ages of 36-38 now. Please if anybody can help in any way please answer.. Thank you.

There is an Anthony Eugene Edwards (August 12, 1927 - June 8, 1995) who served in the US Air Force Korea who is buried at Horse Cove Cemetery in Macon, NC.

Directions: from Highlands - Take the Horse Cove Rd. approx. four miles to the foot of the mountain. Church is on the right, marked only by a very small wooden sign, cemetery is in the back of the church.

Judging from what you said about your Anthony Eugene Edwards and the possible age range of someone who would have been in the service in 1989, I would think it is possible that the man who is buried there could be his father.

There are several Edwards in that cemetery. You could search for phone numbers or addresses of members of the Edwards family in Macon County, NC and see if you get some leads.

Also, you can use some of the genealogy sites on line to narrow your search.

I wish you good luck with your search.

If you are sincere, and I hope this is not a prank, your mother could help you track him through the military since he sounds like a military person. What address did he use when he last contacted your mother? There are also companies that can help you to locate him. Good luck.

if he is still a marine you should be able to do some people searches online.........good luck honey, be prepared for anything if you do find him. My biological father left when I was a baby, and I found him (it was easy, I googled him and he just happend to be a teacher at a school a few hours away from me....small world) and confronted him.......nothing I expected would happen did. Just keep your mind open to any possibilities...and STAY STRONG!!!

You might want a private investigator you help you. Go to craigslist.org and go to your city, then try and find one that has experience and sometimes you can even find one that will barter with you.
