If you are referring to the store bought prepared dough, it will NOT make you sick. This dough has been pasteurized, killing salmonella bacteria.
If you are making your own at home and using fresh eggs, it can make you sick because the presence of salmonella is known to contaminate unpasteurized egg products.
So, if you're a dough fanatic, help yourself to the cookie dough isle!

I haven't gotten sick so far. If there are raw eggs, there's a chance you could, but like I said... so far, so good. Where there's fun, there's always a risk.

actually it can....it contains eggs and that can cause u to get ill if u eat too much of it. i have the same fetish and i found out that u can get sick.

eating anything raw or uncooked is bad for you. theres salmonella in that cookie dough until cooked, don't eat it!!

Please dont eat the whole bowl!
And its never a great idea to eat raw eggs, but you'll probably be fine.
