I want to do what He tells me, but can't be still enough to know when He is guiding me.

Make the time to tell Him everything that is going on. When He answers, you will KNOW it is Him. You have to remember that His timing for you to know is perfect. He will give it to you at the best possible moment for you to know. Likely you will be doing something totally unrelated and BAM, the answer comes to you from out of no where. Why do it that way? If you are doing something entirely unrelated and not thinking about the thing you asked about, you will know where the answer comes from and give praise and be thankful for it being given.

Take the time out of your day(s) for Him. How can He answer if you are too busy to listen? Each day has enough trouble for it's own, don't worry about the others. Each day will take care of itself, spend time with Him. Surely He will make things easier on you if you spend time with Him. You are doing what He has asked you to do. Things will fall into place soon enough.

Hello, with limited information it's difficult to give an answer...sometimes God's still small voice is talking to us within and we know what He's saying, but sometimes we don't want to here it. There is no mistaking God's voice He can reach us even the noisiest busiest place. Sometimes He wants us to make our own decisions and so remains quite until we do. If you are unable to be quite and still maybe that's the way He's made you. Don't worry He will make His voice heard...He can at times give a direct command but most of the time it's The Holy Spirit just gently guiding you...hope this helps...

Turn off the TV, radio, any sounds that are around. God has still small voice. Get a notebook and pen and God's word out and read the Bible and in time, not everyday God will talk to you through daily time of prayer and reading the bible. It may not happen automatically but you will know it when you hear from Him. God will make a way when their seems to be no way!

Grace (not law) unto you, and (then) peace (able),
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Where confusion and strife, there every evil thing.
God is not of confusion, nor responds to striving.
A double minded man gets nothing: James 1.
As for "evil" try connecting these biblical dots:
Our Father, deliver us from "evil": Matthew 6:13
We are delivered from the "law": Romans 7:6
For law is "both good and evil" ends badly.
Grace is good only, never evil, ends good.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Observe everything.
Observe your breathing.
You will notice that the amount and pace of your thinking and your pace of breathing are related. One affects the other.
Use this knowledge to cajole your breathing to slow down while at the same time coaxing your mind to slow down too.
After practice, you might see something new in your experiences.

Try to have a lot of alone time with the Lord and his word, also make sure you don't have any unconfessed sin in your life or his word says he will not hear your prayers.

Even attitude's toward ppl, unforgiveness etc.

The Holy Spirit will put it into your heart. I recommend reading the Bible, this is the strongest way through which God speaks to us, applying His words to our lives.
