Most of the people I know, (including my friends), all want to have a fast relationship. They usually stay with a girl for about a week too two weeks sometimes, not often but sometimes, they may stay with a girl for a month. Me, I just want a girl I can kick back with and get to know her just as well as I know myself. I want a girl I can listen to my Genesis and Phil music with and watch my favorite movies with and go out and have dinner and have an intelligent meaningful conversation with. Is it SO wrong to want that???

I know it's not wrong, but with all of the people I'm around they try and make it sound wrong. That's why I tend to stay away from talking about relationships around them.

Back to your question, no, that's not wrong at all. Sounds like your friends still have some growing up to do. Perhaps you could start the trend of dating someone for MORE than a month. :P You never know. Just keep looking... the right girl's out there somewhere. Good luck!

The only women I know that will sit with you and listen to Genesis and Phil Collins are at the old folks home down the street. J/K Even I know who they are and Im a youngin.
Anyways... be your own man. You dont have to follow those chumps. Who knows maybe they want the same thing u do but are too punkish to look. In any event, you shouldnt care. Be your own man, buddy. You have my permission.

no thats actually a good thing...when you want a relationship with someone then that means more than just a girlfriend. Thats shows trust and loyatly. As a matter a fact i want the same exact thing. im a 17 year old chick thats only dated 2 guys for a long time. im not the kinda girl who wants to date guy after guy but to have someone i fall in love with and be happy with him. Theres nothing wrong with that...you have a good heart and you can show woman that withoutl listening 2 your friends. Good luck andbest wishes!

Dude! I know EXACTLY how you feel. Believe me, there is NOTHING wrong with wanting that. I look for the same qualities in a relationship. It looks to me like you're more mature than most of your friends.
There is one fall-back though... you may have to wait a little longer to find her. However when you do, it will have been worth the wait. Good luck!

There is absolutly nothing wrong with that. The overall problem with that overlook is though that women don't start appreciating guys like you until they go through the gammat of guys like your friends. Don't worry bro your time will come. Your personallity puts you at the top, and eventually within her eye...good luck.
