He probably is jealous he doesn't have a girlfriend to hang out with. Also he probably misses his friend. Try to get a friend of yours to talk to him or tell your boyfriend how you feel. He could fix it, but I don't know if you can.

100% jealousy! Men can be very territorial over their friends. My boyfriend is 30 and they don't get any better LOL! He moved in with me a couple of months ago but before that he lived with his best friend.

When I took turns to stay at his house his friend would do his best to get in the way and tag along at every opportunity.

The best way to handle him is to charm him and work with him rather than respond to his competitive approach to winning your boyfriend's affection. There are two reasons for this - you'll not often win over a friend and secondly he's more likely to lighten up on you if he can see you're an alright person and not out to get him by taking his friend away.

Make the effort and chat to him - if he comes between you pay him a little attention by chatting to him - he may back off a little then. Your boyfriend won't mind as it'll be nice for him that the two of you get on.

Yes he's jelous. He thinks you are getting between him and his best mate. You'd be pretty pissed off if it happened to you.

He's too young to realise that men need female as well as male attention so you'll need to take control of the situation. Make sure your bf has enough time with his mates but also one on one time with you too, as well as enough group time with the three of you and whoever.

Its a difficult balance to pull off, but do not get into the trap of trying to stop him seeing his mates. I have many friends that I now never see because they are with their girlfreind and now rarely goes out.

hes 14....so immaturity falls into play.
He mite be jealous of his best friend. You should tell ur b/f you wan to spend more time with just him.
I'm sure he'd want to be w/u too.

He is probably upset that his best friend is spending so much time without him. your boyfriend needs to make sure he is balancing his time out so you and his best friend are happy. I hope things get better for you :)
