It feels like you been pumped up with a bike pump. It just feels really big and uncomfortable. I get it if I eat too much bread.

Being bloated is feeling like there is air in your stomach. It hurts sometimes and you cannot suck your stomach in all the way. This sounds funny but try laying face down with a pillow or two underneath your stomach for a while. It helps most of the time. It's normal to get bloated from eating certain foods, or when you are stressed out. If you feel like that almost everyday then you may have an intestinal problem, like IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). It causes, cramps, bloating, gas pains and many other symptoms. Just pay attention to which foods bother you the most and try to avoid them.

A bloated tummy feels just like that, bloated or overfull.Do you have this problem with other meals? I sometimes get this if I eat a bit too much and I don't eat all that much anyhow and I find that sucking a Bisodol tablet or a Rennies Deflatine usually resolves it, If you get other pain or discomfort it could be a sign of irritable bowel syndrome which your G.P. can diagnose and prescribe for but I don't think this is very likely if you only have the bloated sensation.

sounds like your bloated to me. I always just feel like my tummy is really heavy and feels quite hard, after a while it starts to go back to normal. I usually feel quite out of breath when i'm really bloated, when i've totally stuffed myself!
