First off, know that you are in for some rough months in the beginning. If you are just starting out, it takes a while to build a "following" as they say. The first key is product knowledge. Know as much as you can, even the ridiculous parts that maybe 1 person out of 100 may ask. Its so much better to have the answer, then to say I don't know. Secondly, be upfront, and honest. Someone on here says lie cheat and steal. That is the stupidest comment I have heard in a while. I have been upfront and honest at the expense of losing a car deal, and in return, I have been sent referrals from that same customer. Know your dealership, what are the good points that you would be happy to share with a customer. Is the service department great....well take every single customer for a tour of the service department. It all comes down to value. Customers seek value in all things: You, the car, the dealership. When value exceeds price, you end up with a sale. Remember that the customer comes first. It is not up to the customer to remember your name, it is up to you to never let them forget it. The top salespeople in any business make their living on referrals and repeat customers, not from the up bus that drives into the lot. Relying on traffic coming into the dealership in this day and age is a recipe for failure. You must make your own traffic. Go to area business, drop business cards off to everyone you see. Everyone needs to drive, if they have your card at least there is a chance they may stop in to see you. As time goes by, you will notice that you stop taking ups, because you are busy dealing with people coming in to ask strictly for you. That is where the honesty pays off. When customers buy from you, and realize that you are an honest individual, they will send people your way. Hope this helps

Here's the fastest way:

Contact Duncan Toys. Their toll free number is (800) 232-3471. Located in beautiful in Middlefield, Ohio, they are always seeking great talent to spread the joys about their 2nd most popular toy.

However, may I give you a small advantage? Don't say "top." We in the trade call it a "gyro", and at our annual convention, if you say top, you'll likely be shunned.

Good luck!

The best sales person is the person that sells themselves first and the product second. Be honest and confident. It also helps to know the product that you are selling.
