Lots of Chinese takeaways will change a recipe if you ask. So if they don't already make a vegan curry, ask them.

I personally like moo goo gai pan or chicken almond ding. I especially like the pot stickers.

Our Chinese takeaway sells vegetarian Thai red & green curry & Chinese vegetable curry - I don't know if it's vegan. They also do other veggie dishes with tofu & vegetables & black bean sauce. The takeaways where I live have quite extensive menus (due to high student population) & can probably adapt dishes to suit vegans if necessary. Last time we had a takeaway we had a selection of starters including won tons, spring rolls & crispy seaweed, followed by some special fried rice with barbecue sauce

NO..in all honesty...you can get a vegetarian curry from a chinese restuarant...but no restuarant can guarantee a vegan meal...especially chinese. you need to go to a real 'specialist' vegetarian restuarant. sauces, oils and everything to do with a chinese - will not be vegan...not even the wine..animal product, filings and by-products will all be present somewhere in the cooking process!

Special chow mein. This has a variety of meats and vegetables, with noodles. It represents good value for money, as you don't need to order rice (it already comes with the noodles).
