This question brings up a fundamental misunderstanding of the principal of evolution. One that is often quoted by those who not understand or accept the concept.

No where did Darwin, or any other evolutionist, ever say or imply, that humans came from monkeys. What they do say is that all life, animal and plant, are composed of the same basic building blocks. And there is NO evidence of any kind that contradicts the concept. Anyone is free to believe whatever the like, including the moon being green cheese.

Species evolve into different sectors to better suit their environment...such as a fish slowly adapting to the deep waters (eventually getting larger eyes or bonier fins) and the same type of fish adapting to life near the surface (sleeker, more aerodynamic bodies). Over time, what began as the same species will diverge to better suit their environment. It is said that all of today's species originated only from a few different species. Everything evolves over time, no matter what including monkeys.

Monkeys? Monkeys?! MONKEYS??!! Why does everyone think it was monkeys? APES! It was apes! And there are still Apes because evolution doesn't occur in a straight line, it branches out.

Ha, ha! Thought I went bananas? Slurp!

This isn't that hard. Monkeys followed a different evolutionary path. We didn't come from monkeys, but we both came from the same evolutionary tree. (no pun intended)

Stumpy, you know that some monkeys took and evolutional turn and some did not; back in your box now, there's a good boy.

Same reason there are still sharks and crocodiles. Some species adapt to their environment in ways that keep them from being removed from the food chain a' la extinction.

Evolution is true but God (Elohim) stepped in and sped up the process. U may ask how this was done; well it was done through genetic manipulation. That's right & the bible supports it.

God made the entire universe from nothing but when it came to us, he used an "element" from the earth. In the bible its called dust but in the Hebrew language the word was 'ADAMAH' which meant 'of the earth/ dark reddish soil'. U can see the name Adam in there & this goes to show Adam was not his name but 'Adam' was describing what he was.

This "ADAMAH" was the evoluted man who God/ Elohim took and gave "the image & likeness" of themselves to. Thus we are the finished product while our primate cousins are still on their natural course.

When did this get established as a drinking game?

its not true because if we were monkeys to begin with and we developed to human being and we been around for 7000 years or more by this time we should change also to some thing else ...dont you think!!.....so far that didnt happen

first of all if there was "evolution" then how do you explain what happened before, yes before the "big bang?" then think about this, there are more chromosomes in humans than there are in monkeys.
