Around 16 to 20 weeks. Here's an old wives tale: its a boy if you're carrying low and its a girl if you're carrying high. That's how I knew with all 3 of my kids. Good luck and congrats.

Usually around 20 weeks, but if you look at your first ultrasound picture very closely you can tell. this sounds crazy but if it looks like a rabbit it is a girl and if it looks like a turtle its a boy. look close and you can see a differance, it is going to resemble one or the other. i was told we were having a boy very early in the pregnancy and sure enough at 20 weeks there he was.

Around 16 weeks they can usually tell, my doctor did an ultrasound around 18-20 weeks.
I've always heard if you carry high, it's a girl- carry low, it's a boy. I was all belly with my second (boy) and with my first (girl) I gained weight all over.
Also, when I was pregnant with my first (girl) I would hold my nephew and he wouldn't cry, but it I held a girl baby she would?? Old wise tale??

Babygirl is right, I know its an old wives tale but I swear by it. Low (widening butt) boy, high (all belly ) girl. I predicted w/ my son my sons son and my neices daughter and were all correct.
