Being only mildly intoxicated always makes me more able to see things for what they really are & think clearer & better than when i am sober. Why is this?

You are repressed.The alcohol quiets the inner voice that represses your true self,so that you can have insights.Unfortunately,it is a fine line between being free and being a libertine under the effects of alcohol.And when you sober up ,your repressive system clamps down harder and you have to deal with guilt and remorse.There are therapies available that will help you find a way through your repression without alcohol and the insights you gain will have lasting ,instead of transitory or fleeting effects.

Hun,I hate 2 break this 2 u,but,that's all in yur head.I know exactly what yur saying about being mildly intoxicated all the time.Trust me.That's kinda like saying that weed makes u smarter.Isn't it?Just bcuz when a group of people r stoned u can have what seems 2 everybody as more logical conversations.

That is so crazy because I seem to have the same insight only when drunk I used to think I was losing it but I started saying things to people . like things I would not know about them and I was right. DO u con cider it somewhat like a Sylvia Brown Situation? Let me know

I get that. Does my head in because I know it's not actually happening the same way in "real life" as it is in my head. Ignore the "reality" & enjoy the intuitiveness. Write stuff down & see what you think the next day, as a test.

The fact is the exact opposite.
You just think you are thinking clearly when in actuality you are not and the brain synapses are firing slower.
That is where the terms...confidence in a bottle comes from.
