All I can tell you is this....... one of my best friends met a 16 year girl and began dating her almost 4 years ago. She's now 20. He's been supportive of her own decisions about her life, she's in college studying nursing, and I've never seen a happier girl in the world as that one most of time. My friend is 42. The moral of the story is that while that wouldn't work for everyone, it does work for them, and it isn't age that set boundaries, people do. So, there really is no "right or wrong" answer. eighteen tops, girls your age always think they are so much more mature than they actually are, and the older guys that are interested in you know exactly how to manipulate that to get exactly what they want. i am a guy and i used to be that way and a lot of guys i know did to. the reason your attracted to older guys and think that they are so much more on your level is because they know how to make you think that. i have given this advice before and it is almost never taken because sixteen year old girls won't accept that they might not be so much more mature. but when they get older it becomes crystal clear how they were manipulated in the past. that's fact do what you want with it.

It should be 18. My sister is 16 dating a 18 year old. It's two years. It's not a big deal.

i suppose 17 so both are underage and no one will go to jail for effing. But I don't agree with laws about sexual age. What really is the difference between a 17 and a 18 year old? Does one year make you magically sexually aware? Besides kids are effing earlier and earlier every year.

The oldest guy a 16 year old girl should be able to date is someone that is still in school with her. If she is dating older "men", then they are for sure more advanced than she is.

well since shes mature.....60 or 70 years old but you can go as far as 90....
i dont care what anyone says, but 16 year old girls are not "mature" your not even an adult yet. you dont know how to live on your own, and you rely on your parents for everything....
so when it comes to this i think 17 is allowable.
