Jesus fulfilled all the prophecies of the old Testament. Not the Gospel. The only thing in the Gospel that he hasn't fulfilled is his return to earth.

You or I could go out today and "fulfill scripture" as easily as Jesus.

It's pretty simple to do something according to directions - especially when those directions are couched in hieratic, allegorical terminology that leaves a lot of room for interpretation, as the "prophecies" of the bible do. Get a donkey, ride it into town. The rest could be filled in by our biographers after we die. It's well-known that many of the supposed "fulfillments of scripture" in the gospels are based on mistranslations of the original Hebrew, as in the case of the "virgin birth." Shall I argue on behalf of the orthodox that it was likewise God's intend to stultify the translators?

Jesus not only fulfilled all the prophetic literature about Him, but He in his greatness surpassed it all. He is the fulfillment of all of God's promises to man and He is the fulfillment of all mankinds sins towards God. He completely does and will always be the only One.

The only one that has not been fulfilled yet is His second coming.

Come quickly Lord, Jesus

The Jews are still waiting for the real Christ to rock up--They dismiss Jesus as a flim-flam man---a complete fake---because the Christ they were promised was supposed to bring lasting world peace--so they just keep waiting.

A more germaine question would be if the Jesus described by today's "Christians" ever really existed.

Jesus said that his second coming would happen before all his followers had died.

Apparently he wasn't feeling very truthful on that day.

So far, yes, He only needs to return to defend Israel at the second coming.

Yes, He did all what was promised. And He is still in control. He will come back to finish His job here. : )
