An 11 year old girl does not need to be worrying about her weight yet! Absolutely not! This is why so many young girls are developing eating disorders and becoming very very sick. 11 year olds are still kids! and baby fat melts away all through your teen years. Do not start worrying about your weight right now. Be a kid, have fun, play, be active, eat what you want. Dont try to grow up too fast!

the answer would be, whatever weight makes her look healthy. No overly big pouches or poochies (as I call them) and no ribs sticking out. They shouldn't even be seen, in my opinion. In other words, have enough fat on top so you cannot see the ribs but can still feel them easily...I hope that made sense. You don't want like an inch of fat on top, you want maybe a cm or two, just enough to cover them. If you see the ribs, I think that's too skinny...unless she's stretching as in yawning, that's different. :)

Remember, she's still growing so you cannot diet extremely yet. What you can do, and I had to do with my daughter, is keep her at a steady weight so she'd grow into her weight. Now she's 12 and still has a poochie on the belly but it's getting better. They make them run in middle school so that extra excercise is definitely helping. :)

That's the other thing you can do if your child has extra padding, make them do more excercise with you. :)

There is no ideal weight for an 11 year old girl. People are different and you will gain weight in your teenage years because your life is changing and your hormones will be increasing and racing and some hormones especially your growth hormone becomes especially active. But I would say a weight would be 80-95 lbs.

Well, there is no exact proper weight for all girls who are 11 and 4'9'' tall. Other things can be a factor. I have included a link to a website that talks all about it. Hope it helps.

Walk with a co-worker's desk to chat rather than instant messaging.

In the mood for a hot meal? Make a large pot of veggie bean soup, divide into two-cup containers, and store from the freezer. Before bed, place a container within the fridge, then grab it before heading out the door the next day.

There is no specific healthy weight. Go to this site to check if your weight is healthy: http://apps.nccd.cdc.gov/dnpabmi/Calculator.aspx

It measures your body mass index, and it is specifically for children and teenagers. However, your best resource is your doctor.

Don’t focus on your faults, spotlight your best bits. Modest waist? Belt it in. Wonderful bust? Lower the neckline. Toned butt? Rock tight jeans. Captivating legs? Show ‘em off. It’s really that easy.

For sandwich-lovers, use spinach or swiss chard leaves rather than a wrap, skip the piece of cheese, and load up on the veggies.
