my husband announced he was going to make a brew went into the kitchen put on the kettle,that was 15 mins ago and he is still sat here watching football,what can i do about this,where is my brew???

i know the feeling!MINE'S LIKE THAT WHEN WATCHING THE NEWS!NOT EVEN IF HE WAS AIMING FOR PRIME MINISTER would he be so engrossed in whatever is happening worldwide!
still....my secret is to turn the volume down & after i take one battery off!when he comes back to watch tv while kettle is boiling,he tries to turn volume up......SO i show him battery & say that he can have it when my brew is done!!!
IT WORKS!!!!

It all depends on which football match he is watching......
the chances are, if you mention the brew he will say 'it's just at a crucial point love, i'll make it in a minute' if this is the case, then you can probably get yourself a brew, drink it without him realising.
then in 15 mins(united borough match) 20 mins(chelsea spurs match) you can remind him that its half time and you could really do with a brew.....then you get another one to top up with!!!

The only thing I can say to you is, it is quicker to make it yourself when football is on.
your husband sounds very much like mine, goes to put the kettle on, then forgets to make it. Two peas in a pod?

When this happens, I always say
"that was a cracking brew love, thanks"
and see what reaction you get
If it doesnt work, steal the remote and put crap on!

go to the fuse box and switch the socket off what the tele is plugged into then watch him try to change a fuse in the plug,
but during him changing the fuse switch the socket back on, that should be fun for ten minutes
