First think of the reason you alienated them. Ask yourself why,and then you will know if you should keep them as best friends or not. Most of time, we alienate friends, because they have done or said something that hurt us really bad. If you think they should have a second chance, then give them a call, and set up a meeting with them. Hopefully, everyone will be able to honestly resolve the differences, and everyone can be "Best Buddies" again.

Just call them, admit to the alienation, and get together to catch back up. It will all work out if you just admit to leaving them in the dust right off and telling you that you've missed them. A big sorry would be nice too.

First of all, you should never burn bridges. You use the word "friend" if this is the case why did you turn your back on them. Before trying to mend anything you need to ask yourself if you want to get back in good terms because you're lonely and you need someone to lean on until the next time you ditch them, OR if they really are in fact your FRIEND! Someone who you do not under any terms turn on. If you choose friend. . . prove you are one. Admit your faults put your own head on the chopping block. Do not defend yourself when fingers are pointed at you, the accusations are probably true!

It's not always possible. The easiest way is to apologize for whatever you did (whether or not you think you should), and hope for forgiveness. A thoughtful gift can help too. Good luck.

You should go apologize to them and tell them your sorry and that you made a mistake and have learned from it. Hopefully they tell you they forgive you but dont take you back as a friend.
