Satan is a servant of God and received permission from God to tempt Job by destroying what all that Job had.

Satan tempted Jesus for 40 days until being rebuffed by him. Satan persuaded the high priests to crucify Jesus and Pontius Pilate to carry out the order.

Satan convinced the leaders to set aside Jesus' resurrection.

Satan fears God but operates as a free agent to tempt men into accepting anything he proposes - like the International Banking System.

Satan does fear God but he already knows his ultimate fate and God allows him, within the boundries of spiritual law, to do the things he does. For example, spiritual law states that Satan can do anything he wishes with the things that belong to him. All people, since the fall of Adam are born of sin, are slaves to sin, and therefore belong to the Devil. When a person is "born again" they no longer belong to Satan and they then have authority over Satan. The fear Satan has for God extends to the Christian in so far as the Christian exercises his/her authority through faith.

Satan knows that, since God is all powerful, he is able to work all things to His will, including Satan's existence. For the meantime, God sees fit to allow Satan to continue. Does that mean he does not fear that god will one day destroy him? Maybe one day you will have the chance to ask that question. However, I do not see the logical contradiction that would draw you to conclude this.

There are no inconsistencies in the Bible. There are mysteries, things we do not understand, but that does not make them, or the Bible, false.

No, it is certainly not an inconsistency. Satan doesn't believe that God is all powerful, or he would not have warred with him to begin with. Just as you think you are far smarter than Biblical scholars, when your ignorance shows by the fact that you have not read the Bible, but merely regurgitate misinformation fed to you by others like the well trained sheep you are. Learn to think for yourself.
Oh, you can't. I'll bet your a liberal.

The Bible is only inconsistant in the mind of those without faith or belief in it or Yahweh.

Satan does fear God, because he knows one day he will be eternally punished!

He has free will like all of us. He loves to destroy lives. He fears God but not enough, like when people are still smoking cigarettes even though it is known to shorten your life.

It is not really inconsistency.

Because he knows he won't be harmed. I think in the bible he made a bet with god.. I can't remember cause I have bad long term memory.

God loved Satan (lucifer) very much. Lucifer was God's favorite angel. Maybe Satan takes advantage of it and thinks that God will not punish him any more.
