First of all, she'd have to meet my rigorous standards. Then it depends on exactly what kind of vegetarian she is.
It seems that there are a couple of different types of vegetarians out there. There are the ones who are vegetarians because they are athletes and have the kind of metabolism where they are just healthier if they don't eat meat. They might have an egg or a chicken-breast here or there to supplement their diet. I could see myself with someone like that, and I might even give up my occasional steak for the harmony of our relationship.
then there are those that are stridently vegetarian for philosophical reasons. they believe that no animal should consume the flesh of any other animal, that all creatures have human rights and that crushing a spider is tantamount to murder. If she's like that, I'm not going to date her.

any girl i date has to be willing to have meat in her mouth at some point even if she don't swallow hehehe. but honestly, if your personalities gell there should be no real problems so long as your willing to work a little bit, i am dating a vegetarian right now and sometimes picking a resturant works and sometimes it doesn't but i don't mind going somewhere else to find a meal she likes, as far as going to strickly vegan resturants, i'd be willing once in a while but i love meat. i'm a steak and hamburgers kind of guy.

In all honesty, I would not date a vegetarian.
Veggies are great and all, but we didn't climb to the top of the food chain to eat carrots you know? Nothing against you. I'm just saying that if I'm going to date a girl, I'd like her to be as much like me as possible so that we can go to the Outback steakhouse or something on dates.

I'd date them as long as like Maxnull says, they weren't the militant type. Either way the idea that mealtimes become a chore would worry me. I like the idea of cooking for my partner and them cooking for me but I eat meat everyday and with almost every meal so meal prep would be problematic.
Honestly it's better not to bother but in reality you can't control who you lust over, if we really click then I'd be eating soy burgers at least in the short term.

lol. It would be fine with me. i love trying new things in the kitchen. As long as he is ok with me eating fish and chicken. I dont eat much red meat anyway. Going out would never be a problem, the hardest part would be cooking at home. But I think it would be fun.

Yeah. I have dated a vegetarian, and the only issue was trying to find a good restaurant for the both of us. Once you find a few, it's no big deal.

No. As a prerequisite, women must be willing to put meat in their mouths among other meat-related items before I go out with them.
