Does anyone remember when Opal Fruits were changing their name?
the advert on TV mentioned Chimpy chompeys. Since then, me and my brother have always called them chimpey chompeys!
I am sure of it, but no one but me and my brother remember it - have we magic-ed it up??

I remember it was when they changed the name, The Monkey was given a choice of three names,
Chimpy chompeys and Jungle drops He didn't react at all to it but when the guy suggested Starburst the monkey went mad, so you thought the monkey had chosen starburst. why the hell did they change the name in the first place?

no i remember the ad and i frequently refere to them as chimpy chompys thats how i kinda came up with my nickname on the web!

I don't remember it. As far as I'm aware they just changed their name to Starburst.
