I have a set of 35mm slide projector slides that I need to be able to put into a digital format. Does anyone know how to do this or anyone that can do this?

You need a film/slide scanner or a flatbed scanner with a backlight attachment and at least 2400 ppi resolution.

Then you just scan the slides into your computer, resize them to picture resolution, and save them on the computer.

If you do them yourself, watch out for dust. Even a small piece of dust gets magnified in the process and shows up big in the finished pic. Clean the slides with a lens brush before scanning or use dust removal software if you have it.

If you do not have access to this kind of equipment, many photo labs or office printing shops will copy the slides to a CD, which you can then read into your computer.

Good Luck

Certain scanners have an adapter that can hold slides/negatives which enables scanning to PC.

2nd option is to project the slides on a wall or screen and photgraph the scene with the camera mounted on a tripod.
