How did u tell ur parents u were pregnant?

My mum was away on a girls weekend and i called her mobile when i found out. i couldn't get her straight away and she called me back five minutes later and said 'i'm just eating breakfast, call me back' and hung up!

i called her back and she said 'what do you want?' i said 'well i only called to tell you i'm pregnant' at which point she screamed in my ear, told her friends who also screamed then got back to a pitch that not only dogs could hear! was certainly memorable!

well mine was extremely hard. mainly for the fact that i'm not married and i'm a full time student in college. my mother didnt know 100% that i wasn't a virgin. so my boyfriend (of three years) and my aunt and i went to my parents house and we all sat down and just talked.

well my stepfather (SF)always cracks jokes about me smoking and i can't help but laugh because i don't so here's what i can remember.

SF: ..blah blah you smoke.
Me: *laughs* No i dont
SF: well you do drugs
Me: *lauhgs* No I don't
SF: well you have sex.

and after he said that it went dead silent in there and my parents were like "we're so ashamed and disappointed in you,"
I then started to cry and stuff and they were both like "Kiri, we were just joking, it's okay."
I told them that wasn't it, and then i just blurted out that I was pregnant.
My stepfather shook his head and lowered it while my mom got furious and said "well there goes your future!! you threw it all away."

My mother and I fought a few months about this whole thing, but now things are good between us all and she's more excited than ever.

My mother told me I was pregnant. I thought I had a wee infection coz I couldn't stop weeing. I was 16 at the time and now I'm 29 and have 4 kids

I found out two weeks before Christmas so I kept it a secret until then. After everyone was done opening up gifts, I made my boyfriend announce it. I told him since he did it, he had to tell my dad and the rest of the fam.

i was 15 when i was pregnant i had no idea how far on i was or anything. but it came to the point when mum caught me crying in my bedroom and she came in put her arm around me and asked what was up and i told her that i was pregnant. she was fine she run me through my options and said she will stand by me what ever i decided that was nearly five years on now. and i am blessed to have my son he even has a younger brother to. i love being a mum.

I bought little bootees, mitts and scarf and gave it to them on a plate instead of biscuits when I made them a cup of tea. I left the tea in the kitchen in case they split it....

I didn't have to tell them - my mum just looked at me one day and said - You're pregnant aren't you? she knew before i did! Apparently pregnant women have a mumsy look to them when they are expecting!
