Im getting married this september (i know hurricane season)
but im looking for a fun and romantic place (island) to go to for my honeymoon. Any good idea's.

I had the same concerns as you when planning our October honeymoon. I wanted to go to a tropical island but not during hurricane season. So I researched a lot of different places based on our interest and budget. For most of the Caribbean islands, not all, October was part of the hurricane season. September was part of the hurricane season for a lot of the Caribbean islands as well. Yahoo travel has a nice overview of the weather, including information on hurricane season, for most islands, so I would recommend you check their to get more information. We looked at both Aruba and Hawaii for our honeymoon since it was outside the hurricane belt. I'm sure there are some more places, so I would do more research on Yahoo travel. Ultimately we chose Hawaii and loved it! My uncle went to Aruba for his honeymoon and he and his wife loved it as well.

I was married in September too and I went on a cruise to the bahamas. It was ggreat it woulld rain for an hour every day, but after that it was nice cool and breezy. We went on Royal Carribean and they had a special dance for all the honeymoon couples. You get to dress up every night for dinner and go out on the pier at night to watch the ocean was heaven.

We went to Mexico Playa Del Carmen and it was the closest I have ever been to Paradise. It was far enough away from Cancun which we found very commerical - not a place to go on your honeymoon, more a place to go with the Girlie's!!!

HA HA! It's funny that you said that.
We decided not to get married in November because of hurricane season. We decided January instead.
We are still debating our honeymoon as well. I am leaning towards a carribean cruise... cruises are great...

Have you ever consider going to Mexico? what about Cabo? I used to live there a year ago, and it´s great specially during September (the worst heat is during summer), it has a very romantic places and private beaches, you should consider this place! Hope it helps!

Bermuda is gorgeous - the beaches really are pink and it's gorgeous there. It's romantic, but there are places to shop and things to do. We stayed at the Southampton Princess (Queen Elizabeth has a penthouse suite there!) and it was a lovely hotel.

Personally, I like the US Virgin Islands the best - and of those, St. John is the nicest. Most of it is a national park, so it is much less developed and much less commercial than the others.
