dear, he's rounding up.
24 weeks and 5 days is ONLY 2 days away from 25 weeks.
It's ok.

My last period was Oct. 1 and I am 24 weeks and 1 day today so you should only be 23 weeks and 5 days not 24 weeks and 5 days.
Anyways, its just an estimate that the Dr. is using. Two days is not a big deal. Relax and just know that you are over half way there. Good luck with the remainder of your pregnancy!

Maybe this is your first time being pregnant. Doctors never give you days only weeks sweetie. So if you wanna say 24 weeks and five days then do so. But your doctor is only going to give you weeks. Even if it means he has to round up!

Your due date depends on your cycle. Try going to http://www.babycenter.com/calculators/duedate/
Enter the info and see what it says. Also, 24wks 5 days and 25 wks is only a 2 day difference.

You may never get an EXACT reading on how far you are, all readings are approximate as you may have been pregnant even while you still had your period. that is not something to worry your head about just be ready for the baby AT LEAST one month before your due date.

When you conceived actually depends on how long your cycle is and not when your last period was. You ovulate differently if you have a shorter or longer cycle. My doctor's estimates were always different than mine, but his seemed to be correct.

did they tell you this after an ultra sound? I know that after I had an ultra sound they adjusted the due date even though I knew the exact date of my last period.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and congrats!!

its only two days. . . . plus there is no certainty to when you actually have your baby, it could come early it could come late. So two days really doesnt matter, try to be more flexible especially now that you are gonna have a baby. God Bless!!!
