It's all in the pudding. And the toast.
Well, the ancient Greeks are the people who lived in the Mediterranean. The Greeks we know today are the descendants of those old old guys.

This, of course, is far from being a serious question about god(s) but thanks for th 2 points.
Of course we know about the ancient greeks because we have writtings from them along with archaeological evidence of their buildings, homes and way of life. I have never seen an ancient greek but I have seen evidence that they existed.

There were no ancient greek gods. There is only one god. The god of the old and new testament. Havent you ever wondered how the earth was created? This is god's work. He created the heavens and the earth.

Okay, you believe in the Greek gods, but you doubt that the Greeks existed? That's just weird.
Try history, literature, anthropology, and archaeology.

I too realize it was a serious question. We have the nation of Greece of course. And Greeks live all over the world and some have brought their culture and history along with them and have passed them on to their children.
Some of my best friends are Greek.oops..

Look in the mirror. How does the trees know how far to grow. How does the ocean know how far to come to shore. Why when we are hurt or broken we say; "oh god help me"
Someone, told me this joke once. I love it and it says it all.
Johnny was in class one day and the teacher was teaching on evaluation. The teacher asked the class; Class who can tell me if they can see the sky outside? Johnny stated; I can see the sky. Teacher asked; can you see the trees? Johnny says; I see the trees. Teacher asked; can you see the grass? Johnny says; I see the grass. Teacher asked can you now see God? Johnny says NO. Teacher replied well if you cant see God, then their must not be one.
Suzie comes along and tells Johnny. Hey Johnny, can you see the sky? Johnny answers with a harsh tone. Yes. Suzie asked; can you see the trees? Johnny says; yes. Suzie asked; can you see the grass? Johnny says; yes. Suzie then asked can you see the teachers brains? Johnny says; NO!
Suzie replies; since then what you heard from the teacher then since cant see her brains then she must not have any.
