Do you believe it is a problem and why?
Do you believe it is a govt ploy to empty your pockets of cash(taxes)

Whether it exists or not, do you re-cycle? And weekly, not just every now and then to give yourself an ego boost.

Yes the earth and other planets are heating up due to the sun,but co2 emissions don't help either .
when air travel was banned over the states after 911 it was much easier to see a clear sky.
But politicians only jump on the bandwagon to pretend they care and to use it as an excuse for more taxes without tackling the real problem.
David Cameron is full of hot air and a hypocrite when he tells us to cut back on plane travel then flies 90 miles in a private plane to attend a meeting.

Well, it is a somewhat scientifically recorded fact that the global temperature has increased about one degree over the past few decades. Some people argue that it is natural and that people have nothing to do with it, it was going to happen no matter what we did. I don't know that that's true, though. I think that it is a natural process, since it has happened way way long ago, but that people have sped it up. If the temperature goes up too much, then there will be drastic consequences. I don't know that it is a government ploy, because I'm not so sure as to how that would work--I mean, how exactly would they empty our pockets if they proved that global warming would exist?? Well, I don't recycle, but I should. My new year's resolution was to recycle, so I'm trying to make every effort to do so, but that hasn't gotten very far yet. Well, that's pretty much it. Global warming is a much-debated topic and there is support for either side, so it is hard to decide who to believe and formulate your own opinion. It may be too late to reverse anything now. Even if all the companies were to stop polluting right now altogether, it is hard to say whether that would do anything at all. It's a "what if" situation, and a big one at that. Well, I hope that my answer helped.

"Do you believe it is a problem and why?

yes because it potentially might result in such things as droughts. Even though it is a potential problem, it is also potentially beneficial which the global alarmists fail to recognize.

"Do you believe it is a govt ploy to empty your pockets of cash(taxes)"
There is definitely some truth to this. I don't know that I would say it was a government ploy. It is certainly the aim of some.

"Whether it exists or not, do you re-cycle? And weekly, not just every now and then to give yourself an ego boost."
When it is economically beneficial, sure, why not. Recycling aluminum for example makes a great deal of sense. Some recycling programs are more for making people feel good and making them think the government cares. When it makes sense, it is a good thing.

There's no question Global warming exists. When I was studying high school 10+ years ago in another country people there already know this is a very real problem. The question is whether men cause it, and how can we rectify the problem. A study that came out a while ago confirms that men indeed is the main culprit of Global warming. The hole up in the ozone layer in Antarctica is getting larger by the minute and if we don't stop polluting our air, our next generations are all gonna get skin cancer and get drowned in the rising water levels from the melted ice from the poles.

Let's not ponder if this is a government ploy. If everyone uses their energy thinking about ways to improve our environment, instead of arguing about politics, maybe we'll have sustainable future.

Do you believe it is a problem and why?

Yes I do. And I believe this because the vast majority of the scientific evidence gathered thus far points to this conclusion.

Do you believe it is a govt. plot to empty our pockets of cash?

No. Because I find the idea of a massive, worldwide scientific/governmental conspiracy to be simply ridiculous. US scientists aren't the only ones saying AGW is real you know; virtually every climate scientist currently working in the field today all across the globe would have to be in on this little conspiracy.

Do I recycle?

Yes. And I do so weekly.

But I don't see what the point is this part is. A lack of recycling is not what is causing GW.

I do believe global warming is a problem.... if you have not noticed it is very hot in the summer and the ozone layer already has a whole in it.. in Anartica... I think.. before too long if something isnt done to stop it I think we wont have an ozone layer and then we will be very hot down here on earth and have to stay inside all the time..
I think people need to try and stop global warming. I have no recycling facilities in my neighborhood because my place sucks!!! If I had a place to recycle I would definetly do it.

Yes it does exist.
It is a big problem because as it gets warmer, the ice caps will melt, the sea level will rise and then cause flooding.
No.
And no.

yup we all hug at once and there it is , we are globaled warmed :)

in other way there are global companies who sells heat to many countries , so this could be called globlal warming :)

and as long as we had in glasgow Snow in winter what is kinda rare, i could say we got Scottish colding, but as a matter of fact in other parts of europe and uk it was hot , so you could assume there is global warming ;)

Yes, it exists, and it is a problem. According to many scientists and meteorologists, the damage is now irreversible. I recycle as often as I can. (Every day).
