About a week ago i went to give blood at my school. They took my pulse and got 115, they took it agian to be sure and it was 120. I was not nervous because needles dont fear me, and i didn't have any soda that morning, i was not feeling dizzy or anything. They said it might be my normal pulse. My question is there a level where i could just pass out? What would that be?

you need to see a doctor. a resting pulse for a women is normally 70 and a good resting pulse for a man is 60 as you can see your are way to high. You may have some serious issue or you could be one of the people that just have a more rapid pulse which would be around 90 or 100 but 120 pulse is not to be ignored see a health professional. please.

Anything over 200 for a long period of time would be something to be concerned about. Your heart rate would have to be over 200 for a long time to make you pass out.

Try checking your own pulse. randomly during the day for a couple of days.
Put 2 fingers along your neck just below the angle of the jaw. Count beats for ten seconds, then multiply it by 6. That is your heart rate.

If you do this for several days and your pulse is not always that high....Then don't worry. If it is consistently above 110 most of the time, then it could be your normal rate. If you have a family physician, you can give him a call and see what he thinks about your elevated heart rate. I hope this helped.
