What is the best brand/type of beef jerky?

I want to send some beef jerky to a friend but I don't know what kind to get or avoid and I want to surprise him.... he really likes the stuff but I know some of it tastes nasty....and is Teriyaki the most common flavor? thx

OBERTO , I get it at a Kroger store. I like the Hickory, but they have Teriyaki and other flavors also.

Wal-Mart . . World Kitchens brand is around $8.50 per 16-ounce bag. Taste is entirely a matter of personal preference.
