Don't allow your tongue to touch your teeth on the letter 's'.

You need to have the tips of your teeth almost touching, and pull the tongue back into your mouth and let the air flow between the the teeth. Consciously pulling the tongue back and POINTING IT TOWARD THE TEETH WITHOUT TOUCHING THEM is the important part.

Also, speak to a speech therapist. Some people have a physiological reason they can't form an 's' properly. Seek help, and don't be embarrassed. It can be fixed. Good luck!

this can be very difficult to overcome. try saying the letter 's' for about 10 seconds and whilst you are saying it move your tongue slowly back to try and crispen the sound. then try and to this in complicated sentences such as "silly sausages sizzle". if this doesnt work get a therapist.

hope this helps ;-)
