well, the perks are considerable. you get to believe only you and those who believe as you do know "The Truth", you get to believe that you and only those who believe as you do get heavenly rewards, you get to be piously self righteous as pleases you, you get forgiven for every and all heinous stuff you do, you get to ignore facts that don't coincide with your dogma, you get to waste and exploit the Earth's resources because you'll be raptured to heaven at any moment, you get to pass judgment on those who don't conform to your dogma (in practice for when you're crowned a priest ruler of the new Earth), you'll be getting a golden throne and a jewel encrusted crowd while those not like you writhe eternally in teeth gnashing agony, you get the full authority of your god whenever you hold a Bible in your hand. and there's more, much more, many many perks to believing you're the inheritor and future co ruler of your god's kingdom
when you're a Fundy Christians you're the elite of the elite, a member of the most exclusive club in the universe.

When you're a fundie you can shut off your mind and just do what you are told. Drift. No more thinking. Just trust and obey, for there's no other way, to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey. Bahhhhh. Bahhhh.
