Forget all the other "miracle" treatments...
Cocoa butter and massage. That's all that you need to minimize the scar. I had surgery and this is what my surgeon suggested I put on my scars once the scabs came off. You can hardly tell that I had surgery at all. He said that it's just the massage action that breaks down the scar tissue. The cocoa butter is just the lubricant, but it's healthy for your skin. Leaves it very moisturized.
The Neosporin Scar Solution patches work well too. You have to leave them on for a LOOONNNGGG time though. It fakes your skin out to make it think that it's thickly scarred already, so it doesn't produce any more scar tissue.
DON'T do any of these treatments if you have an OPEN wound though. NOT GOOD!

Well...most of us have scars somewhere. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I've heard Mederma works well but I believe the wound has to be completely healed before it can be applied. I'm not sure about this (I've never used it) so read the box.
Burns scar very easily. The scar might fade in time. The most important thing about a burn scar is to avoid the sun on the scarred area. Use sunscreen...a high SPF.

Put some neosporin on it, they don't make those commercials for nothing! It really works! Put it on 4-6 times a day, get the cream not the ointment. The cream absorbs into the skin and heals it faster.... Go..... NOW!

the best thing to do is to apply a topical ointment, such as neosporin, twice a day until the wound loses its pink tint. Also, do not pick at it as it may get infected-so just leave it alone and time will heal it eventually.

Buy vitamin e softgels; pop one open with a pin and squeeze it out onto that area. Pat it in gently, do this a couple of times a day.
