Has this ever happened to anyone? I was starting to wonder if I popped a vein or something... but there was no pain, just a little numbness to pressure, pain, and cold. I went on-line to see if I should go to the doctor, and it was almost gone! It now feels just the slightest bit bruised.
But I can't remember doing anything to it!
Except smoking about ten cigarrettes this weekend, whereas I usually have five a weekend and that's it all week.
That can't be it, right?
What else, then?
And why did it just almost vanish?

I can tell you the cigarettes didn't help the problem, and what you describe could be early Raynaud's disease. You might want to discuss that with your doctor.
