Contacts or glasses?

My friend, he is 13, says he wants contacts. It's been almost 5 years for him wearing glasses, and he wants to switch to contacts. He has seen many of his friends switch, so now he wants to switch too. He does play soccer and volleyball and football, so he is a bit athletic. He also says that contacts would help him look better. Budget is no problem for his family. So what should he do?

He should get the contacts just for the sports reason. Glasses are kind of hard to keep track of when your running and hitting people on the football field.

I'm in the same situation. Glasses are good but contacts do help your looks. But u need to take care of ur eyes when u have contacts. Good Luck!!

well, does he want to switch to contacts because a lot of friends have switched? so if he really does want to switch then he should. he needs to talk to his eye doctor and then figure out if he can actually get contacts because there are some people who can't wear contacts. he definately wants to make sure he cleans them regularly and takes them out when he sleeps and showers. i hope this helps

let him use the glasses some contacts have effects better to be safe than sorry....why not take off glasses when doing other thing if his eyesight is very bad.......mayb get contacts but contacts aren't that great

Glasses, with the right frames, are extrememly sexy. I used to wear glasses, i got contacts, then i got lasik. I really miss the glasses

forget contacts - get lazer surgery. He will lose the lens and wind will bother his eyes or get infected
