It was less than a year ago that the Protestants were wanting the 10 comandments in public view everywhere......Now their theme is that the 10 commandments can be ignored because Jesus said so. They're posting that very thing on this forum. They do have problems holding on to any lasting faith.

Nah, it's just that the pesky ol' Constitution keeps getting in the way, so to cover-up they need to make it look like their idea.

Protestantism is a pathetic mess because it is based on a fallacy - the assumption that a book, rather than the church, is the custodian of the faith.

Luther's *sola scriptura* is ridiculous. The Bible in its present form did not exist until the church fathers decided on its canonicity. This was hundreds of years after the time of Jesus and the apostles.

As a result of this confusion, just look at America's fundies today. In their ignorance and idolatry, they worship a book, not the man.

Indeed, and two Problems now: Law Law.
After doing Revelation 13 Law <- Law thing;
After witch... all hell breaks loose, on "them".

Guess they missed Take Heed 101 class.
Whatever not of faith is sin: Rom 14:23.
The law is "not of faith": Galatians 3:12.

What else? Their "Law worketh Wrath" on them.
What else? It's "no escape" sort in 1Thess 5:3.
What else? Noahic sort of "destruction": Lk 17.
What else? For both scape-goats & dumb-sheep.

More Excellent: neither broadmindead nor narrowmindead.
What's Best for All: neither Good nor Better for Some only.
POINT: His GRACE is neither of two "law"s; Not Law Law.

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

The Law of God was not voided by Christ. He just compresed them into a shorter version... "Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and all thy soul and all thy mind and all thy strength.... and love thy neighbor as thy self"... this dose not void "The Ten Commandments".

What were voided were all of the cerimonial ritual laws and the laws governing priests and the dietary laws...these pertaind specificaly to The Nation of Israel...

The Church is commanded by Loveing our neighbors... if one follows that "law" then all of God's Law for mankind will be followed.

The "law" befor Christ was a substitution for Christ...which allowed those faithful to the Law to wait for Christ to come to take them to Heaven... now, we have Christ. So we do not need to rely on keeping laws to gain pardon untill receiving Salvation... but... we are still held to keeping, as best we can, The Word and Will(The Law) of God.

Sounds like they came to their senses.

The whole posting of these commandments is stupid. Their savior told them he gave them new commandments
